How to Downgrade from 1.1.3 to 1.1.1 (Automatic Method)
1. Download the downgrade file fromhere.
2. Extract the files to your Desktop.
3. Open the AutoDown folder and run the file called "down"
4. Press enter
5. Press enter again once the connect to iTunes shows up.
6. Open iTunes
7. Restore it to 1.1.1, shift-click and select the 1.1.1 firmware
8. Once updated choose the backup or set up as new iPod.
How to Get Customize to work on 1.1.3
1. SSH/FTP into your iPod.
2. Navigate to System/Library/CoreServices/SystemVersion.plist
3. Open the SystemVersion.plist file and change the following:
<key>ProductVersion</key>
<string>1.1.3</string>
to
<key>ProductVersion</key>
<string>1.1.2</string>
4. Save it.
5. Reboot your iPod and Install Customize
This will also allow you to install other applications that were only for 1.1.2.
How To Download TTR (Tap Tap Revolution) Songs
1. Go to this website: http://devices.natetrue.com/ttr/itunes/ to load to see every tap made (5 minutes to load) or go here: http://devices.natetrue.com/ttr/itunes/Artist Name - Song Name
For Example: http://devices.natetrue.com/ttr/itunes/The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus - Face Down
2. Right click on the tap file and click “Save Target As” and click OK.
3. SSH/FTP into your iPod and Navigate to private/var/root/Media/TTR/Taps/
4. Place the tap file here.
5. Rename the file as a TAP (.tap) file.
6. Then Navigate to private/var/root/Media/TTR/Music to put the song there. You can just copy and paste it from iTunes.
7. Make sure the Tap and Song file and named the same. (if they have different names this will not work).
8. Restart your iPod and go into TTR, then Download Tracks and then you can play TTR offline w/o WiFi.
2. For Username: type your username in.
3. For Password: Put your password in.
4. For SIP Server: Put in the Registrar, for freecall its: sip.voiparound.com
5. Leave Reg. Timeout at: 1800
6. Enable NAT: NO
How to Downgrade from 1.1.3 to 1.1.1
1. Download iPhuc fromhere.
2. Download the 1.1.1 firmware file for the iPod Touch fromhere.
And the 1.1.2 firmware from here(to upgrade later).
4. Connect your iPod or iPhone to the computer and launch iPhuc. Make sure that iPhuc connects to your unit. If iTunes starts up, quit it.
5. Enter recovery Type enterrecovery, press return and quit iPhuc. Your unit should go into recovery mode.
6. Relaunch iPhuc. You should now see the recovery mode options. Enter filecopytophone followed by the path to the WTF file and press return. Then Enter cmd go and press return. Quit iPhuc.
7. Launch iTunes. It will complain that it has found an iPod or iPhone in recovery mode. Click OK. Then Option-Click (Mac) or Shift-Click (Windows) the Restore button.
8. Choose the 1.1.1 ipsw file and start your restore. If all is well and good, your iPhone or iPod touch will downgrade succesfully.
9. If you run into error 1015, connect your newly restored unit to INdependence (Mac) or iBrickr (PC) or try issuing a cmd fsboot from iPhuc. (This step for iPhone) Upgrading to Firmware Version 1.1.3
1. Upgrade iTunes to v7.6
2. Click on Check for Updates if Automatic Updates is turned off.
3. Click Update and update to 1.1.3
4. Once your iPod is updated to 1.1.3, a screen will come up asking you if you want to purchase the Software Upgrade (w/ the iPhone apps, etc)
5. If you want to buy the upgrade, then click purchase, if you don’t want to then, click on No, thanks.
6. Sync your iPod to get the iPhone apps on and your all set.
How To Change the Main and Power Slider Images
1. SSH/FTP into your ipod touch
2. Navigate to private/var/root/Library/Customize/PowerSliderImage/Backup/ for the Power Slider Image
3. And Navigate to /private/var/root/Library/Customize/MainSliderImage/Backup/ for the Main Slider Image
4. Drag the slider image(s) into those directories (they can be named anything, Use a .png extension if possible).
5. Go into Customize on iPod Touch and go to Main Slider and Power Slider
6. Click on the image and click OK to set as the new slider.

How To Install UNLIMITED APPS from Installer
1. Go into Installer
2. Click Sources
3. Click Edit on the upper right hand corner and when it ask you for a URL, put this one in: sleepers.net/iphonerepo
4. Wait for the resources to load and then press install. IMPORTANT!!! Remember that you dont have space yet to install anything new, so first you are going to have to uninstall some apps. Then Search for the category that says Utilities.
5. Look for Boss Tool and install it. (if you dont find It in the utilities Category then go to All Packages and search for it. Its listed in Alphabetical order).
6. Go Home and wait for Springboard to restart. When it does search for the Boss Tool App and press it.
7. Press where it says Free Disk space.
8. Press where it says to Move Apps.
9. Press the "Do It" button.
10. DONE!!
How To Put AT&T Carrier Image w/ Signal Strength Bars
1. Download this first:http://www.sendspace.com/file/sm8q67 and this: http://www.sendspace.com/file/w43hlc.
2. Navigate to /System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app/
3. Make sure the 2 files are named: FSO_CARRIER_IPOD.png and Default_CARRIER_IPOD.png
4. Put the two files that you downloaded into this directory.
5. Click Yes to Replace
6. Restart iPod.
7. Congratulations you now have an AT&T Carrier Image w/ Signal Bars, just like the iPhone.
How to Add More Settings to Preferences.app
1. Download the .zip file here: http://www.touchrepo.com/Tweaks/NewPreferences.zip
2. Extract the .zip file to your desktop.
3. Navigate on your iPod to /Applications/Preferences.app
4. Rename General.plist as General.plist.backup
5. Rename Settings-iPod.plist as Settings-iPod.plist.backup
6. Copy the extracted files into this directory.
7. Done!
How To get the PSX Emulator (psx4all) to Work and Add ROMs
1. Download this file first(the scph1001.bin) file from click here
2. SSH/FTP into your iPod.
3. Navigate to /Applications/psx4all.app
4. Drag the file you downloaded (scph1001.bin) into this directory.
5. var/root/Media/ROMs/PSX/ (create those folders if you haven't created them already).
6. Drag your psx roms into this directory (make sure the roms are in an .img file format).
7. Go to your iPod Touch and go to PSX4all
8. You're DONE!!
How To Change the Battery Image
1. SSH/FTP into your ipod touch
2. Navigate to private/var/root/Library/Customize/BatteryImage/
3. Drag the Battery Images into this directory
4. Make sure they are PNG files (.png)
5. Go into Customize on iPod Touch and go to Battery Image
6. Click on the image and click OK to set as the new Battery Image.

1. Press the home button and the sleep/wake button
2. Keep holding both buttons until the Apple Logo shows up, then you can release the sleep/wake button
3. Release the home button once the Connect to iTunes shows up
4. Itunes will restore your ipod.

How to add the Phone.app
1. Download the phone.app file here: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=8UVYJUUU
2. Unzip the files
3. SSH into your ipod using WinSCP or CuteFTP, or whatever else
4. Navigate to /Applications/
5. Copy the Phone.app and SMS.app to /Applications/
6. Change all the properties to 755, even the sub folders
7. Restart your ipod and then they should be there
How to set up an email account
1. Go into mail
2. Select other
3. Click on pop
4. Type in your name and email address
5. Incoming Server for yahoo is: pop.mail.yahoo.com
6. Type in your user name and password
7. The Outgoing Mail Server for yahoo is smtp.mail.yahoo.com
8. Click Save (this may take a few minutes so be patient)
9. You're done and your email should load

How to get gpSPhone to work and put GBA ROMs on your iPod Touch
1. Download this file first gba_bios.bin from: http://files.filefront.com/gba+biosbin/;6021104;/fileinfo.html
2. Download GBA ROMs .
3. Extract the roms until the file type is a GBA file.
4. FTP into your ipod using WinSCP or CuteFTP and Navigate to /Media/
5. Create a folder called "ROMs"
6. In the ROMs folder create another folder called "GBA"
7. Copy your roms from your pc to your ipod
8. Navigate to /Applications/gpSPhone.app/
9. Copy the gba_bios.bin file into /Applications/gpSPhone.app/
10. Change the properties to 755
11. Restart your ipod and gpSPhone should work and your roms will be there and you can now play GBA games. Make sure you have downloaded gpSPhone from Installer or manually placed it on your ipod touch.
How to Put NES ROMs on your iPod Touch
1. Download NES ROMs
2. Extract the roms until the file type is NES file
3. FTP into your ipod and Navigate to /Media/
4. Create a folder called ROMs (if you haven't already)
5. Inside ROMs create another folder called NES
6. Place your roms in the folder NES
7. Go to your ipod and you're done!
How to Change the Order of your Icons
1. Download Customize (if you haven't already)
2. Open Customize and go into Icon Display Order
3. Then drag your icons in the order you want them and press the home button to restart the springboard.
How to Download MP3's to your iPod Touch and Play Them

2. Then SHH/SFTP into your ipod
3. Put the Sendfile.app into /Applications/
4. Put the plugins in /System/Library/Internet plugins/

7. Go to www.seeqpod.com on your ipod
8. Search for a song
9. Tap the big green button to download it and wait for it to download
10. Open SendFile.app and tap on the song and then tap on play audio.
